    The solar system size depends on how much of your electric bill you would like to wipe out. Most people will wipe out 25 — 50 percent. Look at your electric bill and determine how many kilowatt hours you use per year. A typical home will use between 12,000 — 18,000 kW per year. Most people will install system between 2.5 and 5.4 kWh. Depending on how many hours of sun your home gets, a 3kW Freedom Solar Roofing system will generate between 3500 and 5000 kWh per year.
